Christmas Eve

This year we spent Christmas at Jed's parent's house. Christmas Eve was the whole family get together. We had yummy food or course and did white elephant gifts. I got a sweet giant universal remote, and Jed got some Male enhancement pills. Just what we always wanted.
Jed's mom and dad did a retro Christmas this year. For their kids they got them toys that they asked for when they were little. Jed got a snoopy snow cone machine. It was pretty cute. They made all the grandkids little red wooden chairs. The same chairs that Jed's grandma made for her kids when they were little. They are so cute and they have their names engraved on them.

Christmas Extravaganza in Logan

We had yummy food, and then a talent show. The highlights were my nieces and my mom doing a dance, the puppet show, and of course Jed and mIne's rendition of the 12 days of Christmas ( my thighs are still a little sore).

New Trick

I was shocked when I put Miles to bed in his crib, later went back to check on him, and he was asleep in the big boy bed. So this is a demonstration on how it is done.

Why didn't someone warn me?

I knew it was wrong the first time I let miles get on one of these little quarter operated contraptions. I can still remember the first time. In the entrance of Wal Mart there was a little horse. I thought Miles would probably enjoy sitting on the horse for a minute. Which he did. As we left the store, he remembered that horse and cried all the way to the car. From then on, he can recognize these toys in all shapes and sizes. Plus side, is he could care less if I actually turn it on or not.

So my advice to you... think twice before letting your child climb on for the first time. It can result in many unnecessary tears .

Christmas Tree

Grandma Dedee got a big one!! 17 ft tall.

First Snow

Jed was in San Francisco the past few days so Miles and I were up in Logan visiting my mom. It had snowed a few inches the night before we went, which was one of the reasons we ended up going.

Milo's first time playing in the snow. He had a blast just walking around. Until he face planted on the trampoline. Which ended all the snow fun.
